Jaclyn Sugg practically grew up at Wheatland Dental Care. As the daughter of Dr. Harry Sugg and Kerry Sugg, she started working in the office at just eight years old—alphabetizing paper charts long before the digital age. Alongside her sister, Laura, Jaclyn answered phones, cleaned rooms, filed charts, and helped wherever kids could lend a hand. Dr. Sugg and Kerry were committed to raising their girls with a strong work ethic, making Wheatland the true definition of a family business.
Jaclyn earned her degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and later completed a Master’s in Organizational Leadership through the Townsend Institute. Before returning to the family practice in 2021, she spent six years with the Baptist Student Ministry mentoring college students, leading mission trips and outreach efforts, and helping international students acclimate to life in the U.S.
In 2021, she returned to the family business and quickly realized it was her dream job. As Office Administrator, Jaclyn loves blending her financial background, her passion for helping people stay healthy, and the opportunity to carry on her family’s legacy. Outside the office, you’ll find her running lots of miles, reading lots of books, spending time with friends and family, and serving at her church.
