Dr. Shawn Nemovi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He later completed an advanced one-year Periodontal Preceptor Surgery Residency at the University of West Virginia, where he gained extensive experience in complex implant surgery, full-mouth extractions, tissue grafting, sinus lifts, and bone augmentation. During his residency, he also served as part-time clinical faculty, mentoring third- and fourth-year dental students.
Dr. Nemovi has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, including veneers, Lumineers®, and Invisalign. He is certified in IV moderate conscious sedation, helping anxious patients feel comfortable during dental procedures.
He has also completed advanced training in the therapeutic use of neuromodulators and dermal fillers for the treatment of TMJ disorders, bruxism, and other functional conditions of the stomatognathic system as part of comprehensive dental treatment planning.
Licensed in three states, Dr. Nemovi has proudly served patients at Wheatland Dental Care for over six years. He provides care ranging from TMJ treatment and malocclusion therapy to dental implants, oral surgery, and post-accident dental reconstruction.
Outside the office, Dr. Nemovi is a certified piano instructor and accomplished composer whose work has been featured on OKC FOX Morning News. He enjoys traveling with his family and bringing creativity and compassion to his patient care every day.
